The current membership cost is $35. It is valid from August 1 to July 31. Regardless of payment date, dues for all members expire each year on July 31 and must be renewed thereafter. Racers that have not paid dues will not be allowed to ride in NCCA and other designated events.
Fees are used towards travel costs when racing, and to cover expenses of the club. They are used to fund the race that Utah hosts each year. Team kits are not included with your membership and may be purchased separately.
Yes. Kits are not included and may be purchased separately. All racers are responsible to pay for race entry fees and a share of travel expenses outside of the team's budget. We tend to travel on the cheaper side to save all of us money.
As competitive as you are. You can do as many races as you would like. If you only want to wear a cool jersey and have a great group of people to ride with, great, we would love to have you join the team. You are responsible for your level of involvement.
By joining the team, you have the option to buy a team kit, which includes a jersey and bibs. You also are entitled to the sponsorship the team receives, meaning you get deals on equipment, clothing and the likes from our sponsors.
Lastly you get the chance to ride with an awesome group of riders who will help you to improve your cycling abilities.
Any bike that rides well. You do not have to have the latest carbon fiber frame with the highest component level. We do recommend the bike fit you properly and be in decent working order. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES!! If you ride in a team kit without a helmet disciplinary action may be taken.
No. Our current licensing agreement prohibits us from selling team clothing to non-team/club members. We have received many requests for official team gear from fans and alumni. We are investigating what it would take to meet the new licensing requirements. However, due to the legal issues involved, this probably won't happen in the near future.
